“Country Roads Take Me Home”
Join us for the 2026 Phillips County Fair! This year’s theme, “Country Roads Take Me Home,” reflects the deep pride we share in our rural way of life, our agricultural heritage, and the strong sense of community that makes Phillips County such a special place. The country roads that stretch across our northeastern Colorado plains tell the story of generations built on hard work, dedication, and hometown values—and each summer, those roads lead us back together for fair week.
The Phillips County Fair is more than just a tradition; it is a celebration of our youth, our families, and the community spirit that continues to thrive here on the plains. From livestock shows and exhibits to rodeos, entertainment, and family fun, we are proud to showcase the very best of Phillips County. Whether you are a longtime participant, a returning visitor, or joining us for the first time, we are grateful to have you here as we make new memories and celebrate the traditions that always bring us home.

2026 Phillips County Fair Queen
Ciara Peterson
The Phillips County Fair is proud to announce Ciara Peterson returning as the 2026 Fair Queen. A graduating senior from Holyoke High School, Ciara plans to pursue Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wyoming, building on her passion for agriculture, rodeo, and animal advocacy.
As an active leader in 4-H, serving as club president and county senator, Ciara is dedicated to promoting Phillips County, the fair, and the rodeo industry. When she’s not representing the fair at events across Colorado, she enjoys baking, working with her calves, and riding her horse, Belle, a 14-year-old Thoroughbred and her trusted partner in the arena.
Ciara is honored to serve as Fair Queen and is grateful for the support of her family, community, and sponsors. She looks forward to representing Phillips County with pride and dedication.
